Nicole and the team at Sim and Son have arranged the funerals for both my father and stepmum in the past 4 months. From start to finish the support from Nicole and others has been fantastic, making sure that every aspect of the service was thought through and removing the anxiety of thinking we had missed something. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Blair organised both my stepdads funeral in January and my mums in November. He made us feel comfortable and supported. He was kind, caring and kept us informed at all times. Also while he was on annual leave Nicole helped dress and prepare my mum. My mum looked absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend Sim and Son. Thank you so much to Blair, Nicole and the rest of the staff.

I honestly don’t know where to begin with giving Sim & Sons the best review ever.
From the first phone call and first visit from Shona, the service was overwhelming.
We as a family were guided through every step and decision with patience and empathy on another level.
On the day itself, the attention to detail and professionalism was outstanding.
We felt cared for and guided throughout the day.
And it didn’t stop there. The aftercare was dealt with in such a dignified,considerate manner.
Feel grateful to Shona and the team for helping us give our lovely Dad the send off he deserved.

Blair was an excellent Funeral Director. He was kind, compassionate about my circumstances and very informative. I had complete trust in his ability to organise an excellent farewell for my husband. He went above and beyond in accommodating an additional viewing , additional flowers etc. He willingly took phone calls from me when things popped into my head and was very reassuring throughout the planning of my husband’s funeral, the day of the funeral service and afterwards too. All the staff were very kind and helpful .

I would highly recommend Sim & Son Funeral Directors. At a very stressful and emotional time they treated both my husband and myself with such care empathy and professionalism. Shona and Gordon were so kind and guided us through a difficult decision keeping us updated and informed at each point and the aftercare has been much appreciated. We also used this company for other family members in the past and the same high standards were met.

Great company and a great help to the family in a difficult time. Had previously used them for my mother when they were based at Knightswood Cross and was happy to use them again sadly for my father. Made everything a lot easier. Blair in particular was a pleasure to deal with in the circumstances, the humanist he recommended was brilliant and overall they really helped the process go a lot easier. Hopefully don't have to use them again but wouldn't hesitate if needed.
